TAKE ACTION NOW TO STOP CUTS TO PROVIDERS

Hours from now, the House of Representatives will be asked to cut the Medicaid Provider Assessments as part of the “Spending Reduction Act of 2012.”  This is not a manageable cut for many providers and for your state.  Congress is being ask...ed to defer the defense sequester cuts on the backs of the poorest, oldest Americans.  In addition to the provider assessment reductions, the bill contains nothing to stop the 2% sequester cuts for Medicare.
